Take a ride, to benefit St. Jude!
On Saturday, December 8, 2012, Keokuk Junction Railway Co. operated its fifth annual Santa Train. Santa Claus joined Keokuk Junction Railway Co. employees and those of other Pioneer Lines who volunteer their time, and made six stops along the KJRY's railroad line to visit children and to confirm their Christmas lists.

Benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
We hosted this event to raise money that will help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital find new treatments for childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases. You can help St. Jude continue its lifesaving work against pediatric diseases with your continued donations.
There was an overwhelming response to the Keokuk Junction Railway Santa Train with almost 800 adults and children in attendance. Thank you for helping us reach and surpass our fundraising goal for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by raising $4200. (Online donations can still be made at our webpage for St. Jude.
The passenger rides would not have been possible without the help of Daniel LaKemper, General Counsel of Pioneer Railroad Services, Inc. who coordinated the passenger car donation and Iowa Northern Railway Company whom generously donated the passenger car. A special thanks to Iowa Northern Railway Company, Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Railway Co., Iowa Interstate Railroad and Tazewell and Peoria Railroad for donating the passenger car movement.
Other donations to the children's educational bags were provided by: Keokuk Junction Railway Co., Wells Fargo, Peoria Chiefs, Taco Bell and Burger King. A special thank you to all our sponsors.
