Frank C. May serves as the Company’s Right Of
Way Agent. Through coordinating the real estate activities of Pioneer Resources, Inc., Mr.
May is responsible for the management of the Company’s combined real estate lease and
license portfolio. The Company’s subsidiary railroads generate revenue by
granting to various entities, such as utilities, pipeline and communications companies and
non-industrial tenants, the right to cross or occupy its railroad right of way and other
real estate property. Mr. May manages new requests, locates new opportunities and
negotiates extensions of existing agreements and coordinates the complete transaction,
including legal documentation, from start to occupancy. This department works very closely
with the Roadways and Structures department to ensure that any construction or crossing
meets the highest engineering standards.Before
joining Pioneer Railcorp in 1998, Mr. May’s twenty-four career included positions in
human resource management, insurance, cable industry and military service with the
Airborne Division of the United States Army.
